Hayden C. Blevins, 21, Marion, was found March 27 to be not competent to stand trial and was ordered to be taken to Larned State Hospital. A review is set for July 11. Blevins is charged with two counts of felony theft and one count each of aggravated assault, battery, criminal damage to property, and disorderly conduct.

William P. Castleberry, 45, Burns, pleaded no contest April 3 to domestic battery, endangerment, and endangerment of a child. He was sentenced to a year’s probation and ordered to undergo mental health and drug and alcohol evaluations. Dismissed was a charge of battery.

A bench warrant was issued March 27 for Kevin L. Clegg, 60, Hillsboro, after he failed to appear in court for a plea hearing on charges of driving under the influence and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Richard A. Ferran, 42, Elbing, pleaded no contest March 27 to possession of methamphetamine. Charges of possession of methamphetamine without a drug tax stamp; possession of drug paraphernalia; driving while his license was suspended, canceled, or revoked; and transportation of liquor in an open container were dismissed. Sentencing is scheduled for May 22.

April N. Fore, 35, Peabody, pleaded no contest March 27 to an amended charge of attempted residential burglary. Original charges of residential burglary, criminal damage to property, and criminal trespass were dismissed, as were charges filed in separate cases of battery and driving while her license was suspended. Sentencing is scheduled for May 22.

Bryan D. Higgins, 37, Stillwell, Oklahoma, pleaded no contest March 22 to possession of methamphetamine. Charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked were dismissed. Sentencing is scheduled for May 9.

Patricia L. Miller, 42, Topeka, pleaded no contest April 3 to possession of methamphetamine. Two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, transportation of liquor in an open container, driving while her license was suspended or revoked, and a second count of possession of methamphetamine were dismissed. Sentencing is scheduled for June 6.

Helen J. Smith, 57, Marion, pleaded no contest April 3 to battery and was sentenced to a year’s probation.

Michael J. Strotkamp, 46, Peabody, pleaded no contest April 3 to possession of methamphetamine. Dismissed were charges of traffic of contraband in a correctional facility, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked.

Jacob R. Stucky, 18, Halstead, pleaded no contest March 27 to driving under the influence. Charges of possession of marijuana, THC, and drug paraphernalia were dismissed.
