A bench warrant was issued Nov. 18 for David E. Delgado, 28, Kansas City, after he failed to appear in court.
Matthew L. Finch, 41, Salina, pleaded no contest Nov. 18 to possession of methamphetamine. Charges of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine without a drug tax stamp, driving without valid registration, and driving without tail lamps were dismissed.
Jordan L. Fryhover, 26, Hillsboro, was sentenced Nov. 4 to15 months in prison for burglary and was ordered to pay $1,470.60 restitution to Ag Services.
David C. Keffer, 44, no city listed, was sentenced Nov. 12 to 18 months’ probation and to pay $713 for possession of methamphetamine.
Tanner L. Jasper, 25, Hillsboro, pleaded no contest Nov. 12 to attempted aggravated battery against a law enforcement officer, fleeing or attempting to elude a law enforcement officer, and driving under the influence of alcohol. Dismissed were charges of criminal damage to property, reckless driving, driving without a valid driver’s license, and speeding.
Robert D. Sawyer, 65, Marion, pleaded guilty Nov. 8 to transportation of liquor in an open container.
Bane L. Spurlin, 21, Hillsboro, formally was charged Friday with 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a child for allegedly having visual depictions of a child younger than 18 engaging in sexually explicit conduct. Spurlin earlier was charged April 14, 2022, with four counts of sexual exploitation of a child by having visual depictions of a child younger than 18 engaging in sexually explicit conduct. He pleaded guilty Feb. 7 and was sentenced to 36 months’ community corrections. A motion to revoke his probation was filed Aug. 12. That case remains pending. He was charged Sept. 3 with violation of the Kansas offender registration act. That case remains pending. He was charged June 16, 2023, with three counts of sexual exploitation of a child for having visual depictions of a child younger than 18 engaging in sexually explicit conduct. That case was dismissed Nov. 14, 2023. He was charged June 20, 2022, with sexual exploitation of a child. That case was dismissed Nov. 14, 2023.
Ian A. Weisbeck, 47, Hillsboro, formally was charged Friday with vehicle burglary and criminal trespassing.
