CWF appoints officers

The Christian Women’s Fellowship of the Christian church met Nov. 10 in the fellowship room. Members had a meal of soups and desserts prepared by the Hannah Group. Donna Hayen welcomed members and led a thanksgiving prayer

Following the meal, there was a business meeting.

Officers for 2011 were announced. They are president, Hayen; vice president, Frances Sanders; secretary, Joyce Smith; treasurer, Traci Helmer; worship leader, Betty Sanders, study leader, Theodora Koslowsky; service co-leaders, Lou Roberts, Dorothy Lawrence, and Eunice Christensen; co-leaders for the Mary/Martha group, Chris Kerns, Bea Kelsey, Smith, Louise Janzen; and Hannah Group leader, Marge Summervill.

Linda Lovelady read from 2 Corinthians 5:1 then prayed the Eternal Love Devotion prayer. Koslowsky gave a presentation, “Why Everything You Do Today Matters Forever,” from a book by Bruce Wilkinson. Koslowsky read a poem, accompanied by Norma Riggs on the piano. Members read scriptures aloud that pertained to the program.

The meeting adjourned with members praying the Christian Women’s Fellowship prayer.
