Kinley Clinkscale’s winning word in the Marion Elementary School spelling bee Friday was “devotion.”

Olivia Harris was runner-up. Kane Hill was alternate.

At Marion Middle School, perennial winner Alexandra Carlson again won the bee. Anna Carlson was runner-up. Jymer Raymer was named alternate.

Winners and runners-up will complete in a county bee at 10 a.m. Feb. 13 at Hillsboro Middle / High School Auditorium. , 1st place winner, and alternate Kane Hill.
