Marion County Democrats are continuing a scholarship award program of several years running.

High school seniors at all five Marion County high schools may apply.

Information was sent to school guidance counselors earlier, and the counselors can e-mail the application to the students.

“In view of the circumstances we all face now, the decision was reached to extend the application deadline to April 30,” said county chairman Eileen Sieger. If you were planning to apply and did not get that done, you still can mail your application directly to Eileen Sieger, chairman, Marion County Democrats, 3026 K-150 Marion, Ks 66861.

Scholarship committee members will make decisions in May and notify all applicants whether they are selected.
