The expiration date for filing applications for Farm Service Agency Emergency Disaster loans by farmers and ranchers in Marion County is Jan. 21.

Farm Loan Manager Eric Guenther advised that those needing farm credit as a result of hail, high winds, lightning, and tornadoes from April 14 through April 15 should make application to the FSA County Office at 301 Eisenhower Dr., Marion.

To be eligible for an emergency disaster loan, an applicant must be operating a family-size farm or ranch, must be unable to get credit elsewhere, and must have suffered a qualifying physical loss from the disaster.
