Don Hess
Don Hess, 69, of Greeley, Colo., died July 24 of a massive heart attack.
Born May 2, 1941, in Peabody, he married Judy Janzen on March 3, 1962, in Wichita. They moved to Greeley in 1967.
He was employed by Union Pacific Railroad for several years. He then worked for several plumbing shops in the Greeley area before establishing Hess Plumbing.
Survivors include his wife, Judy; a son, Curtis of Evans, Colo.; a daughter, Dawn of Longmont, Colo.; two brothers, Jim of Frenchtown, Mont., and Joe of Abilene; four sisters, Jeri Klose of Hillsboro, Mary Andrus of Custer, Wash., and Florence Morris and Pat McElroy of Benton; and two grandchildren.
No services are planned. His body was donated to Science Care and will be cremated.
