Doris David

Services for Doris David, 96, who died Dec. 13 at Hillsboro Community Hospital, will be 10 a.m. Jan. 14 at Hillsboro United Methodist Church.

Pastor Brad Penn will officiate. Relatives will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Jan. 13 at Jost Funeral Home, Hillsboro.

Born June 19, 1926, in Hillsboro to Adolph and Helen (Hiebert) Plenert, she married Fred David on Feb. 27, 1966, in Miami, Oklahoma.

He survives along with sons Scott David of Tampa and Russ Dalke of Castle Rock, Colorado; daughters DeVon Kelley of Derby, Helen Hagen of Hillsboro, and Kris Pschigoda of Hillsboro; brothers Abe Plenert of Missouri and John Plenert of Pennsylvania; 17 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
