Easter weekend offers plenty of egg hunts

Easter weekend will offer a plethora of Easter egg hunts throughout the county.

Florence’s hunt will be at 10 a.m. March 30 at Grandview Park.

A community hunt organized by Goessel Church will begin at 10 a.m. March 30 at the prep school at the Agricultural Museum, 200 Poplar St.

In Hillsboro, Parkside Homes will sponsor a hunt from 2 to 3 p.m. March 29. Salem Home will have one from 3 to 4 p.m. March 29.

Hillsboro Kiwanis will have an Easter Egg hunt at 10 a.m. March 30 at Memorial Park.

Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring Easter Eggstravaganza through March 29. Kids pick up a bag with a list of businesses where they can collect eggs with surprises inside. They can return the eggs to the chamber office by 4 p.m. March 29 and sign up to win a gift basket.

The Living Center at St. Luke Hospital have a hunt for children ages kindergarten and younger at 3 p.m. March 29. Marion City Library will have a hunt for children ages 12 and younger at 10 a.m. March 30 on the library lawn.

Peabody Health and Rehab will have a hunt for infants through fifth grade at 10:30 a.m. March 30. The HUB will have a hunt for children in sixth through 12th grade at 5 p.m. March 31 at Peabody City Park. Participants can meet at the HUB afterwards for music, barebecue and prizes.

Tampa’s community hunt for children 12 and younger will be at 10 a.m. March 30 at the ball field.
