Elton Berg

Services for retired pastor Elton Berg, 87, who died Sunday at a Wichita hospice, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church.

Interment will be at 10 a.m. in the church cemetery. The family will receive guests from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Jost Funeral Home.

Born June 18, 1930, to Tobias and Lydia (Schmidt) Berg in Richey, Montana, he married Ella Reddig on June 29, 1954, in Luster, Montana. She died in 2015.

Survivors include sons Steven Berg of Overland Park; Samuel Berg of Nixa, Missouri; and David Berg of Yale, South Dakota.

Also surviving are daughter Deborah Todd Reynolds of Woodinville, Washington; sister Dorothy Holzworth of Lynnwood, Washington; 14 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
