Emergency dispatches

These dispatches were made by the Marion County Communications Department:

July 24

2:57 p.m. — A male in his 50s with congestive heart failure in the 100 block of South Third Street in Goessel was transported by Hillsboro ambulance to Newton Medical Center. Goessel first responders assisted with the call.

7:44 p.m. — Marion ambulance was dispatched to the 1500 block of East Main Street for an unspecified patient. No transportation was provided.

July 25

10:21 a.m. — Tampa ambulance responded to a male in his 40s with heat exhaustion in the 100 block of East Chicago Street in Lost Springs. No transportation was provided.

1:43 p.m. — A male in his 80s in the 100 block of North Freeborn Street in Marion with shortness of breath was transported by Marion ambulance to St. Luke Hospital.

4:19 p.m. — A female in her 70s with a diabetic reaction in the 1500 block of East Main Street was transported by Marion Ambulance to St. Luke.

4:28 p.m. — Burns Fire Department responded to a grass fire at Northwest 150th Road and U.S. 77 in Butler County. Mutual aid dispatches were made for Florence Fire Department at 5 p.m., Marion Fire Department at 5:30 p.m., and Peabody Fire Department at 6:28 p.m. At 9:51 p.m. Burns Fire Department was the last to return to station.

6:50 p.m. — Tampa Fire Department and Tampa ambulance responded to 330th Road and Limestone Road for a stubble fire.

7:45 p.m. — A male in his 50s with diabetic reactions and chest pain at Marion County Fairgrounds was transported by Hillsboro ambulance to Hillsboro Community Hospital. The patient was transported by Lifeteam helicopter to Via Christi-St. Francis.

9:51 a.m. — A patient at HCH was transported by Hillsboro ambulance to Kansas Medical Center-Andover.

2:12 p.m. — A patient at Via Christi-St. Francis was transported by Hillsboro ambulance to Parkside Homes.

2:46 p.m. — Burns Fire Department, Florence rescue, Florence ambulance, and Peabody ambulance were dispatched to a stock trailer accident one-quarter mile north of Burns on U.S. 77. No transportation was provided.

1:01 p.m. — A male who passed out in the 300 block of North Ash Street in Hillsboro was transported by Hillsboro ambulance to HCH.

3:16 p.m. — Tampa Fire Department and Tampa ambulance responded to a hay fire at 290th Road and Mill Creek Road. Ramona Fire Department and Linconville Fire Department were dispatched to provide mutual aid.

1:28 a.m. — Tampa Fire Department and Durham Fire Department responded to three grass fires in the vicinity of 320th Road and Indigo Road. Hillsboro Fire Department and Roxbury Fire Department were dispatched for mutual aid.

4:15 a.m. — Florence Fire Department responded to multiple grass fires at 80th Road at the Marion/Chase County line.

10:09 a.m. — Durham Fire Department, Tampa Fire Department, and Tampa ambulance responded to a grass fire at 300 Road and Kanza Road.

5:35 p.m. — Hillsboro Fire Department, Hillsboro rescue, and Hillsboro ambulance responded to a one-vehicle accident at D and Washington streets. No transportation was provided.
