aug. 7

12:53 p.m. — A patient at St. Luke Hospital was transported by Marion ambulance to Kansas Heart Hospital.

2:04 p.m. — Peabody Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at Peabody Care Center.

4:19 p.m. — Hillsboro Fire Department and Lehigh Fire Department responded to a pickup truck fire one mile west of the U.S. 56/K-15 south intersection.

6:59 p.m. — A female who fell at Hilltop Apartments was transported by Marion ambulance to St. Luke.

Aug. 8

10:38 a.m. — A male in his 50s with seizures at Bethesda Home in Goessel was transported by Hillsboro ambulance to Newton Medical Center. Goessel first responders assisted on the call.

7:59 p.m. — Marion ambulance responded to an individual with an open wound at the sheriff’s office. No transportation was provided.

10:24 a.m. — Peabody Fire Department responded to a grass fire on U.S. 50 between Sunflower and Timber Roads.

5:49 p.m. — Burns Fire Department responded to a brush fire on Zebulon Road north of Burns.

friday

11:49 a.m. — Lost Springs Fire Department, Lincolnville Fire Department, Linconville first responders, Marion rescue, Marion ambulance, and Tampa ambulance responded to a two-vehicle collision with fatalities in the 3600 block of U.S. 77.

1:43 p.m. — Hillsboro Fire Department responded to a fire in the 100 block of South Elm Street in Hillsboro.

5:29 p.m. — Goessel Fire Department responded to a vehicle accident 2-1/2 miles west of Goessel in McPherson County.

8:41 a.m. — An individual at Marion County Lake was transported by Marion ambulance to St. Luke.

9:22 a.m. — An individual at Marion County Lake was transported by Marion ambulance to St. Luke.

11:32 a.m. — Goessel Fire Department responded to a field and equipment fire at 170th Road and K-15.

11:50 a.m. — Durham Fire Department responded to a field fire at 310th Road and Bison Road.

10:32 p.m. — Marion Fire Department responded to a report of hazy air and electrical smell at the sheriff’s office.

sunday

2:49 a.m. — A female in her 80s who fell in the 800 block of West Grand Street was transported by Hillsboro ambulance to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

4:01 p.m. — A male with broken ribs and swelling in the 1400 block of Diamond Road was transported by Hillsboro ambulance to Newton Medical Center. Goessel first responders assisted on the call.

5:58 p.m. — A male in his 80s who fell in the 400 block of South First Street in Marion was transported by Marion ambulance to St. Luke. Marion Fire Department provided lifting assistance.

11:41 a.m. — A female in her 80s with a severe headache at Bethesda Home was transported by Hillsboro ambulance to Newton Medical Center.
