April 2

10:05 a.m. — Peabody ambulance made an advanced life support transfer from Hillsboro Community Hospital to Kansas Heart Hospital.

1:41 p.m. — Florence Fire Department extinguished a farm implement on fire at the intersection of U.S. 50 and U.S. 77. Florence ambulance also responded.

8:25 p.m. — Florence Fire Department extinguished a semi on fire on U.S. 77 north of the intersection with U.S. 50. Florence ambulance also responded.

9:30 p.m. — Marion ambulance took a woman in her 40s with a migraine and possible seizure from the 300 block of West Santa Fe Street to St. Luke Hospital. Marion Fire Department provided lifting assistance.

11:11 p.m. — Peabody ambulance made an advanced life support transfer from Peabody Care Center to Newton Medical Center.

April 3

6:39 a.m. — Marion Fire Department extinguished a yard fire on Remington Road south of 190th Road.

1:52 p.m. — Peabody ambulance took a woman who fell and had shoulder pain from Peabody Care Center to Newton Medical.

Thursday

10:05 a.m. — Tampa ambulance and Durham Fire Department responded to a semi overturned on 290th Road east of K-15. No transport was made.

2:48 p.m. — Peabody and Goessel fire departments responded to a controlled burn that was threatening to go out of control in the 900 block of Indigo Road.

5:56 p.m. — Durham Fire Department provided traffic control on 290th Road east of K-15.

5:57 p.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to a person who was choking. The patient was no longer choking by the time the ambulance arrived, and no transport was made.

7:32 p.m. — Lincolnville Fire Department responded to a possible grass fire along U.S. 77. It was a controlled burn.

Friday

6:41 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to an unresponsive woman in a vehicle in the middle of 210th Road east of Eagle Road. A sheriff’s deputy also responded. No transport was made.

Saturday

1:48 a.m. — Marion ambulance took a diabetic man in his 60s with low blood sugar from the 200 block of Walnut Street to St. Luke. Marion Fire Department provided lifting assistance.

4:05 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance was called to Tabor College for a woman who fell and hit her head. The ambulance was canceled less than a minute later.

9:22 p.m. — Peabody Fire Department extinguished a tractor on fire in the 1200 block of Old Mill Road. Marion ambulance also responded.

9:33 p.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to a call of a woman who was not breathing in the 200 block of North Elm Street in Peabody.

Sunday

6:52 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance was called to Ash Street for a report of someone performing CPR. The call was canceled as a false alarm.

Monday

10:40 a.m. — Florence ambulance took a man in his 70s who fell and had a possible hip injury from the 2300 block of U.S. 50 to Newton Medical. Florence Fire Department provided lifting assistance.

11:51 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transferred a woman in her 80s from Parkside Homes to HCH.

2:58 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance made an emergency transfer from HCH to Wesley Medical Center.
