12:44 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance made a trip to Newton Medical Center.
12:59 a.m. — A man who fell on ice at Hilltop Manor and had problems breathing refused transport by Marion ambulance.
Dec. 30
4:59 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance was called to the 500 block of W. Grant St. for a cold and confused elderly man with a history of Parkinson’s disease who was unable to open his front door. No transport was made.
9:58 a.m. — Marion firefighters responded to a controlled burn that got out of control and moved into the ditch on Yarrow Rd. between 190th and 200 Rds.
4:38 p.m. — Peabody fire and ambulance responded to the 1200 block of Elm St. for a woman with a high fever. The patient was transported to Newton Medical Center.
5:17 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance and Goessel fire and first response responded to the 200 block of East Commercial for an 85-year old diabetic woman who fell. She refused transport.
8:40 p.m. — Peabody fire and ambulance responded to a one-car accident at 130th and Nighthawk Rds. A woman was transported to Newton Medical Center.
Dec. 31
9:56 a.m. — Peabody fire and ambulance responded to the 500 block of Peabody St. for woman who was having trouble breathing. She was transported to St. Luke Hospital.
2:01 p.m. — Firefighters from Burns, Florence, Peabody, and Marion fought a fire in an outbuilding north of US 77 on US 56.
2:21 p.m. — Marion fire and ambulance and Tampa fire responded to 260th St. and Zebulon Rd. for a fire at a brush pile that rekindled.
3:03 p.m. — Marion ambulance responded to Peabody Care Center for a 68-year-old woman who was vomiting and did not feel well and was supposed to be transported to a medical center per doctors orders. It was not clear where she was transported.
Jan. 1
5:22 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to the 500 block of East 120th St. for a 60-year-old woman who was short of breath and felt weak. She was transferred to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
6:20 p.m. — Peabody ambulance and first response responded to the 800 block of Prairie Lawn Rd. for a man with chest pain and breathing problems.
8:45 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to the 400 block of East 1st St. for a woman who was having a seizure. Hillsboro fire and police provided lifting assistance. She was transported from Hillsboro Community Hospital to St. Joseph Medical Center.
Jan. 2
4:55 a.m. — Goessel first response responded to the 600 block of E. Marion St. for a woman who activated a life alert. Hillsboro ambulance was canceled because the alert was set off accidentally.
2:23 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a woman from HCH to St. Francis.
Jan. 3
12:23 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a patient to St. Luke.
Jan. 4
9:22 a.m. — Peabody ambulance and fire responded to 100th Rd. between Quail Creek and Pawnee Rds. for a 55-year-old man with chest abrasions, pain, and difficulty breathing after an accident with a tractor. LifeTeam transported him to Wesley Medical Center.
1:41 p.m. — Florence fire and ambulance responded to the 800 block of N. Wagon Wheel Rd. for an unconscious 69-year-old man who was transported to Newton Medical Center.
