7:29 a.m. — Hillsboro EMTs responded to the 200 block of S. Jefferson St. for a report of a man in his 60s with cancer who could not walk. Hillsboro firefighters assisted with lifting for the man to be transported to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

9:53 a.m. — Hillsboro EMTs provided advanced life support transportation for a patient at Hillsboro Community Hospital to Via Christi St. Francis.

11:41 a.m. — Peabody EMTs responded to a man having a possible heart attack a half-mile north of US-50 Nighthawk Rd. The man was taken to Newton Medical Center.

4:49 p.m. — Marion EMTs responded to Casey’s convenience store for a report of a woman in her 50s who fell and hit her head. An EMT reported the woman complained of hip pain and left leg numbness as the patient was being transported to St. Luke Hospital.

6:08 p.m. — A woman in her 20s with a dislocated ankle was transported from Reimer Field at Tabor College to Hillsboro Community Hospital by Hillsboro EMTs.

8:07 p.m. — A patient at St. Luke Hospital was transported by Marion EMTs to Newton Medical Center.

8:19 a.m. — Marion EMTs transferred a patient from St. Luke Hospital to Newton Medical Center.

9:09 a.m. — Hillsboro EMTs responded to Birchwood Apartments for a woman in her 90s who fell and hit her head. The woman was taken to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

1:05 p.m. — Marion EMTs transported a woman in her 80s complaining of hip pain from Marion Senior Center to St. Luke Hospital.

5:10 p.m. — Marion EMTs responded to the southwest corner of the intersection of Main and Third Sts. for a woman in her 80s who fell off a curb and was experiencing hip pain. The woman was taken to St. Luke Hospital.

6:48 p.m. — Marion EMTs transferred a woman in her 80s with a fractured hip from St. Luke Hospital to Newton Medical Center.

friday

4:10 p.m. — Lincolnville first responders and Tampa EMTs responded to a physician’s request to transport a man in his 70s from the 600 block of W. Seventh St. in Lincolville to Herington Municipal Hospital.

9:32 p.m. — Hillsboro EMTs transported a pediatric patient from Hillsboro Community Hospital to Via Christi St. Francis.

12:22 p.m. — Marion EMTs transported a patient from St. Luke Hospital to Kansas Heart Hospital.

3:19 p.m. — Peabody EMTs transported a woman in her teens with possible kidney stones from the 900 block of N. Peabody St. to St. Luke Hospital.

sunday

8:29 p.m. — Marion EMTs responded to Hilltop Manor for a male with breathing difficulties. The patient declined to be transported.

monday

1:04 a.m. — Peabody firefighters responded to a report of a residential smoke alarm in the 700 block of N. Plum St. No transmissions about the resolution of the problem were recorded by the newspaper’s scanner.

12:51 p.m. — Durham first responders and Tampa EMTs responded to a woman in her 70s who passed out on 330th Rd. between Bison and Chisholm Trail Rds.

2:06 p.m. — Peabody firefighters and Peabody EMTs responded to a structure fire at the intersection of Locust and Division Sts. At 2:10 p.m. Peabody firefighters requested Walton firefighters be contacted to provide a tanker for mutual aid, but canceled the request at 2:22 p.m.

10:25 p.m. — Hillsboro firefighters responded to a fire alarm at Hillsboro Community Hospital. It was discovered the alarm was triggered by smoke from burned popcorn.
