Emergency dispatches

According to fire and ambulance transmissions, monitored by the newspaper:

Nov. 11

7:50 p.m. — Florence ambulance was dispatched to the 100 block of Doyle St. for woman with a possible overdose. The woman was not transported.

10:46 p.m. — Peabody ambulance provided advanced life support transport of a patient from St. Luke Hospital to Via Christi St. Joseph.

nov. 12

9:19 a.m. — Marion ambulance responded to a report of a woman in her 60s with breathing problems at September Apartments. Marion firefighters were paged to provide lifting assistance. No subsequent transmissions were recorded until EMTs reported they were back at the station at 10:45 a.m.

11:21 a.m. — Peabody ambulance provided advanced life support transport of a patient from St. Luke Hospital to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.

4:54 p.m. — Marion ambulance responded to a residence on Pioneer Ct. at the county lake for a man with diabetic issues. At 5 p.m., Marion firefighters were paged to assist as the man was reportedly on a roof. The man was transported to St. Luke Hospital.

9:33 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance was paged for an advanced life support transfer, but an ALS crew was not available. Peabody ambulance transported the patient from Hillsboro Community Hospital to Wesley Medical Center.

thursday

8:51 a.m. — Marion ambulance responded to a residence on Lakeshore Dr. at the county lake for a woman in her 80s with a possible stroke. The woman was transported to St. Luke Hospital.

friday

7:13 a.m. — Florence firefighters were dispatched for a report of a fire on 100th Rd. between Bluestem Rd. and US-77. After searching unsuccessfully for the fire, it was determined the fire was located near Burns, and Burns firefighters had responded without being dispatched and extinguished the fire.

saturday

3:52 a.m. — Hillsboro firefighters were dispatched to a structure fire on 130th Rd. between Goldenrod and Holly Rds. First truck arrived on scene at 4:12 a.m. Another truck and tanker arrived at 4:20 The fire was reported extinguished at 5:28 a.m.

8:22 a.m. — Tampa ambulance was dispatched to Cardie Oil for a male customer in his 80s who was feeling dizzy. He was transported to Abilene Memorial Hospital.

1:22 p.m. — Marion ambulance transported a patient from St. Luke Hospital to Newton Medical Center.

5:17 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance and firefighters responded to a one-vehicle accident at 250th and Chisholm Trail Rd. Patient refused transportation.

7:05 p.m. — Peabody ambulance transported a male in his 50s with breathing difficulties to Newton Medical Center. The newspaper could not determine the location of the call from the transmission.

sunday

2:41 a.m. — Tampa ambulance responded to Pawnee Rd. between 340th and 350th Rds. for a man in his 80s complaining of pain in his left side. The man was transported to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

11:23 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to the 100 block of S. Date St. for a man whose neck was bleeding. The man was transported to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

9:47 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance was dispatched for a student having a seizure in a Tabor College parking lot. The student was transported to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

monday

12:06 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to 200 block of Washington St. for a report of a woman not breathing. At 12:12 p.m, EMTs requested law enforcement at the scene. At 12:23 p.m. an officer requested Marion County Coroner. No transportation was provided.

1:53 p.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to the 100 block of Washington St. in Burns for a woman who could not be wakened. The woman was transported to Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital.

1:58 p.m. — Marion ambulance responded to the 500 block of N. Olive St. in Peabody for a woman who could not get up from a sofa or chair. The woman was not transported.

7:22 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to Wendy’s restaurant for a man in his 30s who fell in the kitchen and hit his head. The man was transported to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

9:03 p.m. — Florence ambulance responded to the 100 block of W. 4th St. for a woman in her 50s who passed out. The woman was transported to St. Luke Hospital.
