jan. 20

4:05 a.m. — An elderly woman with dizziness was transported by Marion ambulance from the 200 block of S. Thorp St. to St. Luke Hospital.

8:12 p.m. — A patient at St. Luke Hospital was transported by Peabody ambulance to Via Christi St. Francis.

11:04 p.m. — Peabody ambulance was paged to provide an advanced-life-support transport of a patient at St. Luke Hospital. At 11:07 p.m. the dispatcher reported the patient did not need ALS services and canceled Peabody ambulance. Marion ambulance transported the patient to Via Christi St. Francis.

jan. 21

7:28 p.m. — Burns first responders answered a call on Shumway Rd. in Butler County. At 7:32 p.m., a responder reported a law enforcement officer had secured the scene. The newspaper’s system did not record any transmissions describing the nature of the call.

8:02 p.m. — A patient at St. Luke Hospital was transported by Marion ambulance to Via Christi St. Francis.

thursday

2:10 a.m. — Peabody firefighters responded to a field fire at Quail Creek and 30th Rds. At 2:23 a.m. Florence firefighters were dispatched to assist.

4:42 p.m. — Hillsboro firefighters responded to a report of a fire alarm in the 100 block of N. Birch St. A “cooking mishap” was blamed for triggering the alarm.

11:22 p.m. — Hillsboro firefighters responded to a carbon monoxide alarm in the 200 block of Willow Glen Ln.

friday

3:30 a.m. — A woman in her 40s with chest pains and shortness of breath was transported by Marion ambulance from the 300 block of W. Santa Fe St. to St. Luke Hospital.

11:06 p.m. — Marion ambulance was dispatched for an elderly man who was dizzy and fell in the 500 block of N. Locust St. in Peabody. At 11:15 p.m. the dispatcher reported “Peabody ambulance is back up, I’ll be paging them.” Peabody ambulance transported the man to Newton Medical Center.

saturday

7:46 a.m. — A patient at St. Luke Hospital was transported by Peabody ambulance to Via Christi St. Francis.

3:06 p.m. — Marion ambulance and firefighters responded to a one-vehicle accident on Remington Rd. north of 230th Rd. A man with abrasions, hip pain and shoulder pain was transported to St. Luke Hospital.

4:37 p.m. — A patient at Hillsboro Community Hospital was transported by Hillsboro ambulance to St. Luke Hospital.

sunday

10:37 a.m. — A woman who fainted at Peabody Christian Church was transported by Peabody ambulance to Newton Medical Center.

10:51 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance was dispatched to provide an advanced-life-support transport of a patient from St. Luke Hospital to a Wichita area hospital. The newspaper’s system did not record an additional call specifying the destination.

4:39 p.m. — Peabody EMTs provided lifting assistance to a man who fell in the 800 block of Prairie Lawn St.

monday

2:18 p.m. — Tampa firefighters responded to a field fire on Nighthawk Rd. between 300th and 310th Rds.

4:36 p.m. — Hillsboro firefighters, Hillsboro ambulance, and Marion ambulance responded to a one-vehicle rollover accident on US-56 between Eagle and Falcon Rds. The driver, a woman in her 30s, was trapped in the vehicle. She was transported to Hillsboro airport, and flown by Lifeteam helicopter to Wesley Medical Center.

6:04 p.m. — Marion firefighters investigated a report of natural gas odors at the fire station.

7:25 p.m. — A teenage girl with an unspecified medical condition was transported by Peabody ambulance from the 600 block of E. 2nd St. to Newton Medical Center.
