12:31 p.m. — An elderly woman who was partially unresponsive was transported by Tampa ambulance from the 300 block of N. C St. in Ramona to Herington Municipal Hospital. Ramona firefighters assisted with the call.

7:25 p.m. — LifeTeam helicopter took a patient from St. Luke Hospital to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.

10:15 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to Oakwood Apartments for woman reported to be hallucinating. No transportation was provided.

11:58 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to a medical alert in the 300 block of S. Floral Dr. Within four minutes of arriving at the location, EMTs reported the call as a non-transport.

thursday

7:22 a.m. — Burns first responders and Marion ambulance responded to the 200 block of W. Main St. in Burns for a woman described as a “signal 4” by the dispatcher, a code used for potentially suicidal subjects. Upon clearance by a sheriff’s deputy, the woman was transported to Newton Medical Center.

8:30 a.m. — A FedEx driver reporting sharp pain in his back and numbness from a bulging disc was transported by Hillsboro ambulance from 150th Rd. between Bison and Chisholm Trail Rds. to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

friday

8:57 a.m. — A woman in her 70s who fell was transported by Marion ambulance from the 200 block of Pine St. in Peabody to Newton Medical Center. Peabody first responders assisted with the call.

4:15 p.m. — A man in his 80s with difficulty breathing was transported by Peabody ambulance from the 800 block of N. Olive St. to Newton Medical Center. The ambulance was diverted to the VA Medical Center in Wichita.

10:02 a.m. — A man with a fever and cough was transported by Hillsboro ambulance from the 400 block of W. B St. to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

11:39 a.m. — A man who felt overheated was transported by Peabody ambulance from US-50 between Kanza and Limestone Rds. to Newton Medical Center.

12:52 p.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to the 400 block of N. Plum St. to provide backup for a behavioral situation involving a juvenile. No transportation was provided.

1:55 p.m. — Burns firefighters responded to a grass fire. No transmission was recorded by the newspaper’s system with the location of the fire.

2:45 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to the 200 block of S. Birch St. for a man who reportedly had difficulty getting to his car to drive to the hospital. The newspaper’s system did not record any transmissions reporting the resolution of this call.

12:40 p.m. — A woman in her 60s with nausea and flu symptoms was transported by Marion ambulance from the 1500 block of E. Main St. to St. Luke Hospital.

12:53 p.m. — Goessel first responders were unavailable to respond to a man who the dispatcher described as “fading in and out” on a telephone call in the 600 block of E. Marion St. Hillsboro ambulance responded as first response, and a Hesston ambulance responded to the scene.

3:45 p.m. — Marion ambulance transported a patient from St. Luke Hospital to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.

6:16 p.m. — A woman in her 70s who was nauseous and delirious was transported by Peabody ambulance from the 700 block of N. Maple St. to Wesley Medical Center.
