According to fire and ambulance transmissions, monitored by the newspaper:

Sept. 29

4:43 p.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to the 700 block of N. Sycamore St. for a woman who fell getting out of bed and needed assistance. The woman was not transported.

11:48 p.m. — Hillsboro fire responded to Tabor College for an alarm going off. Dispatchers reported no signs of smoke or fire.

Sept. 30

9:41 a.m. — Marion fire responded to 160th and Nighthawk Rds. for a semi on fire. Marion fire was later dismissed.

5:26 p.m. — Peabody ambulance, Marion ambulance, Peabody rescue and Peabody fire responded to west of Peabody near the Harvey and Marion County line for a car vs. semi collision. The driver was airlifted to Wesley Medical Center, and two other passengers were transported by EMS to Wesley Medical Center.

8:41 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to the 300 block of S. Prospect St. in Lehigh for a man in his 40s complaining of back pain. He was transported to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

THURSDAY

9:53 a.m. — Marion ambulance performed a basic-life-support transfer from St. Luke Hospital to Galichia Heart Hospital, Wichita.

12:07 p.m. — Hillsboro first responders and Hillsboro ambulance responding as first responders were paged to the 500 block of W. Grand St. in Hillsboro for a woman who had fallen. She was not transported.

12:41 p.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to the 400 block of E. Main St. in Goessel for a man in his 50s who was in and out of consciousness. He was transported to Newton Medical Center.

2:17 p.m. — Lincolnville fire responded to Vista Rd. southwest of Lincolnville for hay bales on fire. Firefighters contained the fire.

2:39 p.m. — Marion ambulance performed a BLS transfer from St. Luke to Wesley.

7:31 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported an elderly male bleeding from the head from 240th and Nighthawk Rds. to HCH.

Friday

5:01 a.m. — Peabody ambulance transported an individual who fell from Wesley Manor to St. Luke. The patient had fallen on a shoulder that recently had been surgically operated on.

6:48 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance and Goessel first responders responded to 90th Rd. west of K-15 for a woman in her 20s who had stabbed herself in her leg with a pocket knife. She was transported to Newton Medical.

10:42 p.m. — Marion ambulance responded to the 200 block of S. Thorp St. for a woman who had fallen and was having difficulty breathing. Transportation was not specified.

Saturday

12:01 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to the 100 block of N. Jefferson St. for a domestic problem. The reporting party advised that glass had been broken. Officers then told the ambulance that there were no injuries, so the ambulance was dismissed.

5:31 a.m. — Marion ambulance transported a man who was having trouble breathing from the 400 block of S. Cedar St. to St. Luke.

2:44 p.m. — Marion ambulance transported a man who had fallen the day before and was complaining of pain from the 400 block of S. Thorp St. to St. Luke.

6:19 p.m. — Marion fire and Marion ambulance responded to the 1300 block of E. Main St. for a reportedly small fire in an oven. Marion ambulance was released from the scene.

8:12 p.m. — Peabody ambulance transported a man with leg pain from 50th Rd. between Old Mill and Nighthawk Rds. to Newton Medical.

9:27 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance was on standby for a possible domestic dispute in the 300 block of E. Commercial St. in Goessel. Hillsboro was later dismissed.

sunday

6:37 a.m. — Marion ambulance transported a man who wasn’t breathing well from the 330 block of S. 3rd St. to St. Luke. Marion fire was paged for lifting assistance.

7:37 a.m. — Goessel first responders, Goessel fire, and Hillsboro fire responded to 120th and Alamo Rds. for a driver who reportedly went through the ditch and stopped in the middle of the intersection and was slumped over. A police officer at the scene dismissed Goessel and Hillsboro.

11:56 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transported a man who fell from his scooter and was reportedly bleeding from the head from the corner of Jefferson and D Sts. to HCH.

1:34 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance and Tampa ambulance as first responders transported a woman complaining of back pain and unable to walk from the 100 block of Lawrence Ave. in Durham to HCH.

3:02 p.m. — Marion ambulance transported a woman on the floor needing assistance from St. Luke Living Center to St. Luke.

3:39 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance performed a transfer from St. Luke to Newton Medical.

Monday

12:20 a.m. — Marion ambulance responded to the 100 block of Eisenhower St. for a man who fell in the bathtub. He was not transported.

8:58 a.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to the 700 block of N. Maple St. per law enforcement request. There was no transportation.

7:37 p.m. — Marion ambulance informed St. Luke that they were bringing in a football player with a possible neck and spine injury from the Marion junior-varsity football game.
