AUG. 14

5:30 a.m. — A person who fell at Indian Guide Apartments in Peabody was taken to Newton Medical Center by Peabody ambulance.

11:06 a.m. — A 56-year-old woman with neck and stomach pain and dizziness in the 200 block of Locust St. in Marion was taken to St. Luke Hospital by Marion ambulance.

5:48 p.m. — A 54-year-old man who was feeling light-headed in the 200 block of S. Cedar St. in Marion was taken to St. Luke by Marion ambulance.

8:47 p.m. — A St. Luke patient was transferred to Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, by Marion ambulance.

AUG. 15

No fire or ambulance calls were recorded.

THURSDAY

12:57 p.m. — A girl who was hit in the back of the head during a fight in the 700 block of N. Vine St. in Peabody was checked by Peabody ambulance, but her parents declined to have her taken to a hospital.

5:32 p.m. — A St. Luke patient was transferred to McPherson Hospital by Marion ambulance.

8:23 p.m. — A 74-year-old woman on Backbay Ct. at Marion County Lake who was throwing up after a colon operation was taken to St. Luke by Marion ambulance.

10:06 p.m. — A truck that hit a power line near 340th and Limestone Rd., prompted a call to Tampa firefighters and Hillsboro rescue squad. Tampa ambulance also stood by as a precaution. Responders remained at the scene for 1½ hours.

FRIDAY

4:22 p.m. — A pancreatitis patient was transferred from St. Luke to Via Christi – St. Francis Hospital, Wichita, by Marion ambulance.

SATURDAY

2:40 a.m. — At the request of Peabody police, Marion ambulance was sent to check on a woman with an apparent head injury in the 400 block of N. Walnut St. in Peabody. A lone Peabody EMT also responded. The woman was taken to St. Luke.

6:39 p.m. — An 11-year-old boy with persistent chest pain was taken by Marion ambulance to St. Luke from the 200 block of N. Roosevelt St. in Marion.

6:53 p.m. — A 56-year-old woman who collapsed at Cottonwood Point at Marion Reservoir was checked but not taken to a hospital by Hillsboro ambulance.

9:06 p.m. — A person injured in a domestic dispute in the 200 block of N. Roosevelt St. in Marion was checked by Marion ambulance but declined to be taken to a hospital.

SUNDAY

6:10 a.m. — A call from a medical monitoring service sent Marion ambulance to the 500 block of S. Cedar St. in Marion. EMTs reported helping a person at that address but not taking anyone to a hospital.

7:26 a.m. — A man with a possible broken hip in the 500 block of S. Freeborn St. in Marion was taken by Marion ambulance to NMC.

8:52 a.m. — A 19-year-old football player who reported tingling and numbness after hyper-extending his neck at the Tabor football field in Hillsboro was taken to Hillsboro Community Hospital by Hillsboro ambulance.

9:31 a.m. — A Bethesda Home patient in Goessel who was having trouble swallowing antibiotics for a urinary tract infection was taken by Hillsboro ambulance to NMC for intravenous administration of the drugs.

11:25 a.m. — What may have been the football player transported earlier was transferred by Hillsboro ambulance to St. Francis.

6:41 p.m. — A St. Luke patient was transferred to NMC by Marion ambulance.

9:14 p.m. — A propane leak near 230th and Diamond Rds. was controlled by Hillsboro firefighters within 30 minutes. Hillsboro ambulance also responded as a precaution.

10:16 p.m. — An elderly person who fell and was having trouble getting up at a residence on K-15 north of 150th Rd. was helped but not taken to a hospital by Hillsboro ambulance. First responders from Goessel were paged but did not answer.

MOnday

2:29 a.m. — A patient with high pulse, temperature, and respirations at Westview Manor was taken to St. Luke by Peabody ambulance.

7:28 p.m. — A St. Luke patient was transferred to Via-Christie St. Francis in Wichita by Marion ambulance.
