april 2

4:04 a.m. — A patient from Hillsboro Community Hospital was taken by Hillsboro ambulance to Salina Regional Medical Center.

1:09 p.m. — A patient from HCH was taken by Hillsboro ambulance to St. Francis Trauma Center in Wichita.

2:13 p.m. — Peabody firefighters were called to a grass fire that had gone out of control near 80th and Sunflower Rds.

8:17 p.m. — A patient from HCH was taken by Hillsboro ambulance to Kansas Heart Hospital in Wichita.

10:24 p.m. — Marion firefighters were called to a controlled burn, where a power pole was thought to be on fire near Pawnee and 190th Rds.

10:01 a.m. — A 56-year-old man needed help getting up after falling in the 1500 block of E. Lawrence St., Marion. He refused to be taken to a hospital by Marion ambulance.

11:30 p.m. — A 55-year-old man needed assistance getting up out of his chair near 140th and Eagle Rds. He refused to be taken to a hospital by Hillsboro ambulance.

12:42 p.m. — Burns and Florence firefighters responded to a controlled burn that had gone out of control near 40th Rd. and US-77.

1:25 p.m. — A 70-year-old man who fell out of a loader and hurt his neck near in the 400 block of Santa Fe St., Marion was taken to St. Luke Hospital by Marion ambulance.

2:33 p.m. — A patient from HCH was taken by Hillsboro ambulance to St. Francis in Wichita.

4:18 p.m. — Marion firefighters were called to a brush fire near 190th and Nighthawk Rds.

11:01 a.m. — A patient from St. Luke was taken by Marion ambulance to Kansas Heart Hospital in Wichita.

6:58 p.m. — A person complaining of chest pains at Westview Manor in Peabody was taken to St. Luke by Peabody ambulance.

friday

3:45 p.m. — An 86-year-old man complaining of head, neck and back pain in the 1700 block of Rose Lane, Marion County Lake, was taken to St. Luke by Marion ambulance.

5:52 p.m. — Goessel firefighters were called to a grass fire near 140th and Eagle Rds.

saturday

4:02 a.m. — A 70-year-old man with a low oxygen level at Westview Manor in Peabody was taken to Newton Medical Center by Peabody ambulance.

2:44 p.m. — Durham firefighters were called to Durham Cove at Marion Reservoir for a brush fire.

sunday

4:45 p.m. — A man who had fallen needed assistance getting up near Remington and 120th Rds. He was taken to St. Luke by Peabody ambulance.

11:03 p.m. — Marion firefighters were called to Marion Coop for an anhydrous ammonia leak.

11:13 p.m. — Marion ambulance was asked to stage at the Marion Sheriff’s office for anhydrous ammonia leak at the coop.

monday

2:59 p.m. — Ramona and Tampa firefighters were called to a grass fire along the railroad tracks near 330th and Mustang Rds. No fire was found and the firefighters returned to their stations.

8:13 p.m. — A woman with chest pains in the 800 block of Lawrence St., Durham, was taken to HCH by Hillsboro ambulance. A Durham first responder was also on scene.
