july 14

5:06 p.m. — A Hillsboro Community Hospital patient was transferred to Via Christi-St. Francis Hospital, Wichita, by Hillsboro ambulance.

8:07 p.m. — A 30-year-old man with back pain and difficulty breathing in the 400 block of S. Lincoln St., Marion, was taken to St. Luke Hospital by Marion ambulance.

July 15

2:28 a.m. — Durham, Goessel, Lehigh and Hillsboro firefighters were called to a structure fire near K-168 and US-56, but no fire was found.

11:43 a.m. — A 74-year-old man who was not feeling well in the 1500 block of E. Main St., Marion, was taken to St. Luke by Marion ambulance.

3:17 p.m. — A patient from St. Luke was transferred to St. Francis by Hillsboro ambulance.

4:00 p.m. — A person injured in a one-vehicle accident near US-56 and Goldenrod Rd. was taken to HCH by Marion ambulance. Tampa ambulance and Hillsboro firefighters also responded.

6:50 a.m. — A 96-year-old woman who fell at Salem Homes, Hillsboro, was taken to St. Luke by Hillsboro ambulance.

10:14 a.m. — A fire alarm being tested at Goessel Elementary school resulted in a canceled run for Goessel firefighters.

6:48 p.m. — A 5-year-old who fell in the 700 block of S. Lincoln St., Hillsboro, was taken to HCH by Hillsboro ambulance.

friday

6:08 a.m. — A 59-year-old man who was vomiting, possibly from food poisoning, near US-77 and 50th Rd. was taken to St. Luke by Marion ambulance. Florence EMTs did not answer page.

1:04 p.m. — An HCH patient was transferred to Salina Regional Medical Center by Hillsboro ambulance.

3:28 p.m. — A 93-year-old man who felt faint in the 1500 block of Victory Lane, Marion, was taken to St. Luke by Marion ambulance.

7:32 p.m. — Hillsboro firefighters were called to the 200 block of B St., Hillsboro to help lift a person.

saturday

9:39 a.m. — An 86-year-old man who was feeling weak in the 700 block of S. Lincoln St., Hillsboro, was taken to HCH by Hillsboro ambulance.

12:52 p.m. — An HCH patient was transferred to Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, by Hillsboro ambulance.

2:58 p.m. — A man who got his leg tangled in a scooter in the 200 block of W. B St., Hillsboro, declined to be taken to a hospital by Marion ambulance. Hillsboro firefighters also were called.

sunday

4:30 a.m. — A 79-year-old woman who was having cardiac issues in the 700 block of W. Grand Ave., Hillsboro, was taken to HCH by Hillsboro ambulance.

7:29 a.m. — An HCH patient was transferred to Kansas Heart Hospital, Wichita, by Hillsboro ambulance.

2:41 p.m. — A 73-year-old woman who fell at Salem Apartments in Hillsboro was helped up, but declined to be taken to a hospital by Hillsboro ambulance attendents.

6:51 p.m. — A woman who was stuck in a bathroom in the 700 block of S. Ash St., Hillsboro, was taken to HCH by Hillsboro ambulance.

9:45 p.m. — Marion ambulance, Florence first responders, and Florence firefighters were called to a two-vehicle accident near US-50 and 110th Rd., but none of the accident victims wanted to be taken to a hospital.

monday

11:46 a.m. — A St. Luke patient was transferred to St. Francis by Marion ambulance.

2:20 p.m. — A 90-year-old man who was unresponsive but breathing in the 200 block of S. Jefferson St., Hillsboro, was taken to HCH by Hillsboro ambulance. Marion ambulance also responded.

8:46 p.m. — A 12-year-old girl who fell off a merry-go-round at Grand View Park in Florence was taken to Newton Medical Center by Peabody ambulance. Florence and Marion ambulances also responded.
