Aug. 18

12:02 p.m. — A Wesley Medical Center patient was transferred to St. Luke Hospital by Marion ambulance.

6:43 p.m. — A man who was involved in a fight at Marion County Jail, refused to be taken to a hospital by Marion ambulance. He later was taken to St. Luke by a Marion County deputy.

9:19 p.m. — A Hillsboro Community Hospital patient was transferred to Via-Christi St. Francis, Wichita, by Hillsboro ambulance.

10:17 p.m. — Officer requested Peabody ambulance crew to respond to the station for a person with a puncture wound in their armpit. The person was taken to Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, by Peabody ambulance.

11:36 p.m. — An HCH patient was transferred to Wesley Medical Center by Hillsboro ambulance.

Aug. 19

7:24 a.m. — A 70-year-old woman in the 700 block of West A. St., Hillsboro, who was having severe back pain, was taken to HCH by Hillsboro ambulance.

7:36 a.m. — An 85-year-old man showing symptoms of a stroke in the 400 block of Elm St., Marion, was taken to St. Luke by Marion ambulance.

7:19 p.m. — Marion, Hillsboro, and Florence firefighters and Marion ambulance were called to a car and grass fire in the 100 block of N. Roosevelt St., Marion. Hillsboro and Florence firefighters were told to disregard.

8:24 p.m. — A 76-year-old man who had chest pains in the 100 block of West 6th St., Florence, refused to be taken to a hospital by Marion ambulance.

9:14 p.m. — A law enforcement officer requested an ambulance near 120th Rd. and K-15 for people complaining of neck and chest pains. No one was taken to a hospital by Hillsboro ambulance. Goessel first responders also were called.

3:03 p.m. — A St. Luke patient was transferred to Via-Christi St. Francis by Marion ambulance.

4:19 p.m. — A 63-year-old woman,who fell in the 400 block of N. Walnut St., Peabody, refused to be taken to a hospital by Peabody ambulance.

6:11 p.m. — A St. Luke patient was transferred to Via-Christi-St. Francis by Marion ambulance.

7:13 p.m. — A 51-year-old man near US-77 and 50th Rd. who was complaining about feeling ill, was taken to St. Luke by Hillsboro ambulance. Peabody ambulance also was alled.

9:47 p.m. — A St. Luke patient was transferred to Rock Regional Hospital, Derby, by Marion ambulance.

friday

6:15 a.m. — An 80-year-old woman who was having chest pains in the 300 block of D. St., Hillsboro, refused to be taken to a hospital by Hillsboro ambulance.

9:09 a.m. — An HCH patient was transferred to Kansas Heart Hospital, Wichita, by Hillsboro ambulance.

11:48 a.m. — Peabody firefighters were called to the 500 block of N. Sycamore St. for a gas line that was hit.

11:25 p.m. — Marion firefighters, Marion rescue crew, and Marion ambulance were called to the dam at Marion County Lake for a one-vehicle accident. No one was taken to a hospital by Marion ambulance.

saturday

6:51 a.m. — A 82-year-old man who was having difficulties breathing in the 500 block of Lawrence St., Durham, was taken to Lindsborg Community Hospital, Lindsborg, by Tampa ambulance.

sunday

9:00 a.m. — Peabody firefighters were called to a fire alarm at Westview Manor, Peabody. The call was canceled, as no problem was found.

9:05 p.m. — A 76-year-old woman who fell in the 400 block of E. Marion Ave., Goessel, was helped up and refused to be taken to a hospital by Hillsboro ambulance. Two Goessel first responders also were on the scene.

10:46 p.m. — A St. Luke patient was transferred to Newton Med by Marion ambulance.

monday

12:49 a.m. — A student at Tabor College with difficulty breathing was taken to HCH by Hillsboro ambulance.

10:55 a.m. — Lincolnville and Marion firefighters were called to a small grass fire near US-77 and 270th Rd. Marion was told to return to station.

3:13 p.m. — Goessel firefighters were called to a structure fire in McPherson County.

4:20 p.m. — An HCH patient was transferred to Newton Med by Hillsboro ambulance.

5:02 p.m. — Lincolnville firefighters responded to a vehicle on fire near 290th and Vista Rd.

6:25 p.m. — Goessel firefighters were called to McPherson County to assist a 64-year-old man who was having seizures, until a McPherson ambulance could arrive.

8:50 p.m. — An 86-year-old woman who fell in the 300 block of Willow Rd., Hillsboro, refused to be taken to a hospital by Hillsboro ambulance.
