june 22

9:08 a.m. — A 68-year-old man who fell was taken to Hillsboro Community Hospital by Hillsboro ambulance from the 300 block of S. Ash St., Hillsboro. At 1:36 p.m., Hillsboro ambulance returned to HCH to take patient home.

7:41 p.m. — An 84-year-old man with stroke-like symptoms was taken by Marion ambulance to St. Luke Hospital from the 400 block of N. Lincoln St., Marion.

june 23

4:25 a.m. — A St. Luke Hospital patient was transferred to Via Christi – St. Joseph Hospital, Wichita, by Marion ambulance.

9:23 a.m. — A 45-year-old woman with abdominal pain was taken to HCH by Hillsboro ambulance from the 300 block of S. Birch St., Hillsboro. A Hillsboro first responder assisted.

11:14 a.m. — Marion firefighters were called to false alarm at St. Luke Hospital.

11:20 a.m. — An HCH patient was transferred to Salina Regional Health Center by Hillsboro ambulance.

11:54 a.m. — An 87-year-old woman who was dizzy and not feeling well was taken to Newton Medical Center by Peabody ambulance from the 500 block of N. Vine St., Peabody.

1:08 p.m. — An HCH patient was transferred to Salina Regional by Hillsboro ambulance.

6:33 p.m. — A 60-year-old woman who was having chest pains was taken to Newton Med by Peabody ambulance from the 800 block of N. Poplar St., Peabody.

6:41 p.m. — Marion ambulance and firefighters were called to a one-vehicle accident near 230th Rd. and US-77. No one was taken to a hospital.

8:17 p.m. — A 15-year-old girl who was having breathing difficulties was taken to Newton Med by Peabody ambulance from the 400 block of W. Olive St., Peabody.

8:27 p.m. — Hillsboro, Marion, and Peabody firefighters and Marion ambulance were called for a report of smoke coming from an outhouse at Marion County Park and Lake.

8:41 a.m. — A Bethesda Home resident with stroke-like symptoms was taken to St. Francis by Hillsboro ambulance.

12:55 p.m. — A man who was shot by a BB gun in the 600 E. 5th St., Peabody, declined to be taken to a hospital by Peabody ambulance.

3:32 p.m. — An 85-year-old man who fell in the 100 block of N. Lincoln St., Hillsboro, declined to be taken to a hospital by Hillsboro ambulance.

friday

1:11 a.m. — Hillsboro, Peabody, and Goessel firefighters, Hillsboro and Goessel first responders, and Hillsboro ambulance extinguished a mobile home fire in the 600 block of E. Marion Ave., Goessel.

2:21 a.m. — A 66-year-man with low blood sugar was taken to St. Luke by Marion ambulance from the 900 block of E. Denver St., Marion.

4:17 a.m. — Hillsboro, Marion and Durham firefighters were called to a false alarm in the 100 block of N. Ash St., Hillsboro.

7:18 a.m. — A 70-year-old woman was taken by Marion ambulance to St. Luke per from near Sunrise and 220th Rds on a physicians order for an evaluation.

8:17 a.m. — Four people declined to be taken to a hospital by Peabody ambulance from an accident near us-50 and Nighthawk Rd.

2:49 p.m. — No leaks were found after Marion firefighters were called for a gas smell near Remington and 240th Rds.

5:56 p.m. — Marion firefighters were called to a power pole that was arcing near Jefferson and 1st Sts.

6:04 p.m. — A 53-year-old man with a dislocated hip was taken to Newton Med by Peabody ambulance from the 700 block of N. Locust St., Peabody. Peabody firefighters assisted.

7:36 p.m. — A person who had a seizure was taken to St. Luke by Marion ambulance from the 1500 block of Victory Lane, Marion.

9:46 p.m. — Two girls were rescued by Goessel and Hillsboro firefighters from floodwaters near 90th and Meridian Rds. Hillsboro ambulance was also called, but no one was taken to a hospital.

saturday

12:05 p.m. — An 88-year-old woman who had nausea was taken to Newton Med by Peabody ambulance from the 500 block of N. Vine St., Peabody.

1:59 p.m. — A 88-year-old woman who fell at Memorial Park, Hillsboro, was helped up but declined to be taken to a hospital by Hillsboro ambulance.

4 p.m. — A 69-year-old man who fell off a ladder was taken to St. Luke by Marion ambulance from the 1500 block of Victory Lane, Marion.

sunday

12:19 a.m. — Marion ambulance was called to Marion County Jail to test an inmate’s blood for intoxicants.

4:05 a.m. — Marion ambulance was called to the Marion County Jail for a second blood draw.

1:21 p.m. — A St. Luke patient was transferred to Rock Regional Hospital, Derby, by Marion ambulance.

monday

4:23 p.m. — A 90-year-old man who slipped out of a chair near Upland Rd. and Lakeshore Dr. was helped up but declined to be taken to a hospital by Marion ambulance.

4:39 p.m. — A 70-year-old woman who was feeling weak was taken to St. Luke by Peabody ambulance from the 500 block of N. Vine St., Peabody.
