Engagement announced

Jannie Marie Brook of Olathe and Andrew John Brookens of Omaha, Neb., announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

Alan and Mary Ann Brook of Arkansas City and Bob and Anita Brookens of Marion are their parents.

The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Arkansas City High School and graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from Mid-America Nazarene University of Olathe. She is employed as an accountant and bookkeeper by Cornerstone Endonotics in Overland Park.

Her fiancé graduated from Marion High School in 2002 and in 2006 from Baker University in Baldwin City with a Bachelor of Science degree in business. KVC Behavioral Healthcare in Omaha employs him as a human resources manager.

A wedding is planned April 23 in rural Baldwin City.
