Steve Greenemeyer and Velma Wilson of Edmond, Okla., announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Kyle Annette Greenemeyer to Cory Jon Painton, both of Oklahoma City.

The groom-elect is the son of Stephen and Sue Painton of Edmond.

The bride-elect lived in Marion until 1980, when she moved to Little Rock, Ark., and then to Oklahoma. She graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma and is employed by Progressive Insurance.

Her fiancé is employed by Time Rental.

An April 25 wedding is planned in Edmond.
