Engagement announced

Aida Lawrence of Kansas City, Mo., and William Lawrence of San Diego, Calif., announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Christina Luisa Lawrence, to Matthew Dean Hatfield, son of Doug and Joy Vogel of Marion.

Grandparents are Charles and Leona Hatfield of Hays and Marie Vogel of Phillipsburg.

A wedding is planned for June 5 in Kansas City, Mo.
