Rick and Sharon Terrel of Newton, Ken and Clara Holub of Marion, and Tom and Kim Hancock of Lansing announce the engagement of their children, Kendra DeAnn Holub and Christopher Levi Hancock.

Grandparents are Bonnie Ratzloff of Newton, the late Chester Ratzloff, Wencel and Loretta Holub of Marion, Don and Donna Keiser of Kansas City, Mo., Richard and Margaret Nedwed of Blue Springs, Mo., the late Wyona Pike, and the late Virgil Hancock.

The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Marion High School and a 2008 graduate of Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education. She is employed by Rainbows United Inc. of Wichita.

Her fiancé is a 2005 graduate of Lansing High School and is completing a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering at Wichita State University.

The couple plan to be married July 18 at Marion Christian Church.
