Greg and Kim Topham of Peabody announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Kate Elizabeth Topham, to Blake Rylan Morgan, son of Bob and Ann Morgan of Goddard.

The couple are 2009 graduates of Southwestern College, Winfield, where they received Bachelor of Science degrees in biology and biochemistry, respectively, with minors in leadership studies.

The bride-elect graduated in 2011 from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colo., with a master’s degree in food science and human nutrition. She completed her dietetic internship and is studying to take the registered dietitian board exam at the end of the summer.

Her fiancé is a teaching assistant at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colo., where he is studying for a master’s degree in chemistry.

A wedding is planned for June 24 at Westlink Christian Church, Wichita. The couple will live in Fort Collins.
