Esther Unruh

Esther Unruh, 81, died Dec. 2 at Bethesda Home in Goessel.

Born Aug. 8, 1928, in rural Newton to David and Mary (Flaming) Voth, she was married in 1958 to C. Howard Unruh, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include four sons, Tom of Colorado and John, Fred, and Bill of rural Newton; a brother, Elmer Voth; four sisters, Wilma Schmidt, Hilda Schrag, Alice Duerksen, and Darlene Schroeder; and seven grandchildren.

Services were Friday at Tabor Mennonite Church in rural Goessel with the Rev. Corey Miller officiating. Burial was at Tabor Mennonite Church Cemetery in rural Goessel.

A memorial fund has been established with Bethesda Home.
