Fall cleanup scheduled in Peabody

Peabody residents wanting to dispose of built-up garbage and unused items will have two opportunities this year, one in October and one in November.

The first will start at 7:30 a.m. Oct. 3, but workers will do only one pass through Peabody.

Items that are allowed include bundled tree limbs three feet or shorter, general trash, furniture, and electronics.

Lawn mowers and other gas-powered items will be taken but not if they contain gasoline. No tires, construction debris, or appliances with Freon will be taken. The second pickup day will be 7:30 a.m. Nov. 21 with the same standards applied.
