Members of Marion-Florence FFA Chapter attended the 83rd annual Kansas FFA Convention June 1 through 3 in Manhattan.
MHS FFA members participated in a leadership workshop and attended all six sessions.
The MHS chapter was recognized for placing in the National Chapter Award Program. The chapter placed 15th in the gold division (the top 10 percent of all chapters), in the chapter development division, and in the silver division (the top 20 percent of all chapters) in the chapter award areas of community development and student development.
Members also toured the Kansas Artificial Breeding Service Unit as well as the Dymax Corporation in Wamego.
