Twenty-six Centre FFA members traveled to Hillsboro Nov. 18 to participate in the South Central District Dairy Cattle Career Development Event at the Marion County Fair Grounds.

The Centre team placed third in the senior division of dairy cattle evaluation. Team members were Cassidy Hill, Karl Riffel, and Chad Mueller. Chad placed fifth overall in the dairy evaluation.

Rebecca Reneau placed eighth overall in the greenhand division.

The Marion/Florence FFA chapter received first place in the greenhand division. Team members were Noah Albin, Garrett Alleven, Aidan Cairns, Ryan Cochran, Austin Coddill, Ezra Darnall, Cade Harms, Kaitlyn Goebel, Peyton Heidebrecht, Daniel Hinton, Joseph Legg, Krisde Robinson, Seth Savage, and Bryce Shults.

Individually for Marion, Taylor May placed 2nd and Nathan Baldwin placed 10th.
