Three members of the Marion/Florence FFA chapter received awards at the South Central District FFA Banquet April 18 at Stafford High School, Stafford.

Adam Cope was recognized as the district proficiency award winner in the area of Beef Placement. Adam will also be recognized at the state FFA convention in June as the state winner in this area of proficiency.

Shayla Rahe received the proficiency award in the area of swine placement.

Jacob Cope won the proficiency award in the area of forage production.

All district winners received a plaque and a cash award from the Kansas FFA Foundation.
