Final Symphony in Flint Hills planned
A beloved tradition 20 years strong will wrap up its run June 14.
The final of Symphony in the Flint Hills will be at Evans Family Ranch near Bazaar in Chase County. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. March 1.
Country singer and songwriter Logan Mize of Clearwater will take the stage after the Kansas City Symphony for a night of dancing.
“For nearly two decades, we’ve gathered under breathtaking sunsets, creating lasting memories with attendees from near and far,” event board chair Mary Ice said.
Gates will open at 1 p.m. Roping, prairie walks, and talks will be available.
After Kansas City Symphony and Mize perform, powwow dancers and stargazing are planned.
Tickets are available through April 13 at $95 for adults and $50 for children 12 years old and younger.
Starting April 14, tickets are $110 for adults and $50 for children.
