Marion County volunteer firefighters are planning a fund-raiser Aug. 31 at Marion County Lake filled with food, fun, and fireworks.

Children’s games and other activities will begin at 1 p.m. A meal of pulled pork will be served from 4 to 6 p.m.

Local band, Justus, will perform at $6 followed by country music’s newest star, Candy Coburn.

Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 day of show. Emergency services workers and military personnel will save $5.

Free will donation will be accepted for food, games, and fireworks.
