Five county students get state FFA degrees

Five students from Marion County schools were among 50 students who received state FFA degrees last week.

In doing so, Peyton Ensey and Cassandra Meyer from Marion High School, Jack Parks and Clarissa Stokes of Peabody-Burns, and Centre’s Jensen Riffel received Kansas FFA’s highest honor.

Requirements include having chapter FFA degrees, being FFA members and ag education students for at least two years, and earning $2,000 or more or working 600 hours in a supervised agricultural experience programs.

Riffel also received a National FFA scholarship last week.
