Five Marion football players make all-league
Even with a rocky season where Marion won two football games, five Warriors received Heart of America all-league honors.
Junior Braedon Mercer led the team with an all-first team selection as a returner.
Marion ended with three athletes making all-second team as well, with senior Luke Lanning making it as a linebacker and offensive lineman, as well as senior defensive lineman Todd Palic, and punter Jaxton Tracy.
In addition to his talents as a returner, Mercer received honorable mention as a running back. Senior defensive lineman Hunter Helmer was also named for the honorable mention list.
