Free throw sends MHS girls to championship game

Marion High School girls basketball team defeated Jefferson County North High School, 42-41, Friday to earn a trip to the state championship game.

Lindsay Hett made a free throw to give the Warriors the lead with 11.6 seconds left in the game.

MHS will play the winner of the Thomas More Prep-Marian and Garden Plain game at 4 p.m. Saturday in Hutchinson.
