Gladys Watkins

Gladys Leona Watkins, 91, of Marion, died Jan. 28, 2010, in her home.

She was born May 31, 1918, to Walter E. and Mabel K. Lott of Bennington.

On April 19, 1937, she married Raymond W. Watkins of Niles, who preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker and mother of three children.

Survivors include a sister, Alice Busby of Wichita; two sister-in-laws, Margaret Swoyer of Olathe and Mabel Ellison of Towanda; twin sons, Marvin and Melvin Watkins of Wichita; daughter, Marilyn Jones of Marion; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Marion Senior Center.
