Glen Williams

Glen C. Williams, 90, Marion, died Dec. 7, 2008 at Salem Nursing Home, Hillsboro.

He was a farmer and agricultural construction worker.

He was born April 20, 1918 in Downs.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Ann Lindley in 2003 and two grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn (Marr) Williams of the home; six daughters, Tina Hancock of Marion, Glenda Turner of Cherokee, Gwendolyn Perrin of Falcon, Texas, Rhonda Deer of Sand Springs, Okla., Sherry Candle of Sulphur Springs, Texas, and Vanorma Killingworth of Winnsboro, Texas; two sons, Johnny Williams of Osborne and Bryan Williams of Alton; 28 grandchildren; and 50 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Dec. 11 at Clark-Gashaw Chapel, Osborne.

Burial was in Corinth Cemetery, Corinth.

Memorial funds have been established with Osborne County Memorial Hospital or Parkview Care Center, both of Osborne.
