Goessel man dies under vehicle

Gary L. Schroeder, 62, of Goessel was pronounced dead Sunday morning after being found pinned beneath a vehicle he had been working on.
Hillsboro ambulance, Goessel first response, and Goessel Fire Department were dispatched to Schroeder’s home at 214 S. Church St. at 3:22 a.m. Sunday.
County Coroner Dr. Don Hodson pronounced Schroeder dead at the scene, Sheriff Rob Craft said Monday. Craft didn’t have a final coroner’s report, so he didn’t have other information.
