Golfer wins 1st medal

Marion golfer Sybil Bowman earned her first varsity medal Thursday at Council Grove. She placed 12th in the 18-hole event. She was the second Marion golfer to earn a varsity medal in three years. Vyolett Dawson finished 12th earlier this year at Lamont Hills.

The Warriors next golf meet will be Thursday at Clay Center.
