Gospel quartet to perform

Gospel music’s Blackwood Quartet, winner of eight Grammy awards, will present “The Gospel Side of Elvis” at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 9 at McPherson Opera House.

The quartet, which sang at Presley’s funeral and the funeral of Presley’s mother because he once aspired to join the group, has sold more than 60 million albums.
