HAPPY HUSTLERS:   Happy Hustlers

Happy Hustlers 4-H Club met Nov. 4 at Marion Christian Church. Devin Soyez and Elise Schlehuber led the club in the flag salute and the 4-H Pledge; 31 members answered roll call of “something you are thankful for.”

The Community Services Committee reported the need to make placemats for the senior center Thanksgiving meal.

The Foods Project will help at the soup supper at the Aulne Church. The Reading Project will meet Friday after school in the Library to do goal setting. The Horseless Horse Project will set a date to meet.

There were no project talks or demonstrations this month. Tristan Williams played the piano for music appreciation and Cassie Meyer led the club in recreation. The Kimbrel and Adkins families provided refreshments.

The next meeting was Dec. 2. The club went caroling. Each family brought 24 cookies to the meeting to make gift plates for 4-H sponsors and each 4-Her brought two pieces of fruit to make a fruit basket for the nursing home and assisted living center.
