Happy Hustlers
Before their monthly meeting Dec. 9 at Marion Christian Church, Happy Hustlers 4-H Club visited both St. Luke Living Center and Marion Assisted Living Center and did caroling for residents.
At the meeting members put cookies and treats together as plates delivered to 4-H sponsors around the community.
Luke Lanning and Jack Lanning lead the club in the flag salute and 4-H pledge. Thirty-four members, seven parents, and five leaders attended.
The Community Services Committee reported a need to make placemats for a December meal at the senior center.
The club’s Horseless Horse Project will start meeting every Tuesday right after school.
Payton Harms gave a project talk on fish, and Cassie Meyer and Mickelly Soyez did a demonstration on how to make a doughnut tree.
Cade Harms sung a song for music appreciation, and Cassie Meyer led the club in recreation.
The Meyers and K. Williams families provided refreshments.
