The Marion Happy Hustlers 4-H Club monthly meeting was held Nov. 3. Present were 18 members, five leaders, seven parents, and one guest.

The Community Service Committee asked everyone to bring tomato products for Marion County Emergency Food Bank.

Community Leaders gave many reminders, and congratulated those who received awards at the 4-H County Achievement Banquet.

In new business, the club voted on a gift exchange for its December meeting. An original motion was made and two amendments were presented. One amendment failed and the other passed. The original motion, as amended, also passed. It was a good exercise in parliamentary procedure.

Cassie Meyer gave an illustrated talk about “How to Give a Talk.” Tristan Williams led music appreciation and recreation. The Smith family provided refreshments. The next meeting is Dec. 8.
