Happy Hustlers plan library activities

Cathy Martin, community leader of the Happy Hustlers 4-H Club, announced at the group’s Feb. 10 meeting that the reading project members will be presenting Dr. Seuss activities at 10 a.m. March 3 at Marion City Library.

The meeting began with a meal prepared by the foods project members.

Payton Harms opened the program by leading the club in singing “Happy Birthday” to those with February birthdays. Alex Stika gave a talk titled, “The Bag Lady.” Nick Meyer presented a talk about cuts of meat.

Jarret McLinden and Cara Martin directed activities following the program. The evening concluded with members rotating through four stations of activities including community service, foods, arts and crafts, and horse.

The next meeting is at 7 p.m. March 5.
