Harvey V. Hawkinson, 94, of Burdick, died July 6 at Herington Municipal Hospital.

Born Nov. 28, 1915, in Lincolnville, to Frank J. and Marie H. (Hane) Hawkinson, he was a farmer.

He served in the Army during World War II.

His wife, Noral, died May 30, 1999. Two brothers, Chelsea and Leslie, and two sisters, Elsie Hedstrom and Orfie Humbarger, also preceded him in death.

Survivors include a brother, Donald, of Elkton, Ore.; and a sister, Linnea Barlow, of Burdick.

Services were Friday at Penwell-Gable Funeral Home, Herington. The Rev. Bill Peterson officiated.

Burial with military honors was in Burdick Methodist Cemetery.
