Brad and Rhonda Heerey of Wichita announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Lauren Heerey, to Zachary Tyler Carlson, son of Dan and Kim Carlson of Topeka.

Grandparents of the bride-to-be are Charles and Virginia Heerey of Marion, Betty Williams of Florence, and the late Donald Williams. Jenny should receive a bachelor’s degree in elementary education with an endorsement in middle school math in May 2013 from Emporia State University.

Zach received a bachelor’s in accounting in 2012 and will receive his MBA in Dec. 2013 from ESU. They both played sports at ESU where they first met.

The wedding is scheduled for June 21 at Pathway Church in Wichita.
